History

Established in 1978, DROMONE is an industry leading Irish company with Headquarters in Oldcastle, Co. Meath. DROMONE employs over 140 people across a range of functions including operations, engineering and marketing.

Recognised as an authoritative voice in our industry, DROMONE works closely with stakeholders and relevant authorities in the development of standards to support the industry. To support this, DROMONE incorporates up to date technologies, lean systems and continues to invest in Research and Development to provide our customers with superior performing products.

DROMONE exports almost 100% of our product to global markets and our portfolio of customers includes Blue Chip customers in the agriculture and construction industries. In addition to this, DROMONE has developed worldwide distribution channels to service OEM customers, dealer networks and rental fleets.

DROMONE is a CPD (Continuous Professional Development) accredited company. The development of our people has been critical in developing leading edge technology and securing business with Blue Chip customers around the globe.

Company History

1978

DROMONE developed and launched its first Agriculture Pickup Hitch for the European market. We are proud that our Headquarters remain in Oldcastle, Co. Meath, Ireland to this day.

DROMONE secures its first OEM Pickup hitch supply to Renault Tractors in France & Case Tractors in the UK.

DROMONE launches the Auto-Lock Coupler in North America and European Markets. We also attended our first CONEXPO Show in Las Vegas.

Dromone develops and launches the Ball & Spoon system. The Dromone Ball & Spoon Coupling System allows for fully automatic coupling from the cab of the tractor.
